At this point, essentially this site is my conduit to reach out to my loved ones and to those who know, love, and serve the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a sounding board for a dream that I have had for several years. With the recent pandemic, which I call a pestilence, my motivation was and is greatly stimulated by the extraordinary American spirit that we are seeing in so many people as they come together to help, to create, to pray, to lift, to comfort.... and the list goes on.
I am not a member of the clergy, nor do I hold a degree of any type. I have only one true credential of value and that is I am an adopted daughter by my Father God in Heaven, and I follow His son Jesus, who is the best example of how to live and look at life in this interim world. It is He who would have me extend an invitation to you to join in a partnership in order to strengthen the vision of Christ throughout our homes and communities all over this nation and where ever this website can be seen.
This is a familial place where people can express their woes, their anger, their grief, their questions and conflicts. It is national and political ONLY as a Bible rich site full of scriptural answers on ALL issues from God himself. In coming together, through Christ, we have unity and one mind.... to believe God's Word is true, that Jesus was crucified and died for all sinners, and was resurrected over 2000 years ago! He yet lives today, and our Blessed Hope is that Jesus will himself be returning soon. Isn't that just so exciting to think about? Meeting Jesus soon? Are you anxiously waiting for our Lord? Boy oh boy! With all the changes we have been living and watching these last few years, I'm anticipating eagerly becoming a part of the next big prophetic fulfillment, the rapture!!
(I love these moments as I'm watching for my Lord and Saviour. He is checking in constantly, keeping us posted on His progress as He nears His city's limits! "Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." I like the account of our Lord's teaching to the disciples in chapter 13 of Mark when they asked what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled? [in the Messianic Jewish Study Bible by Hendrickson Publishers, the question was rephrased to "what sign will show when all these things are about to be accomplished?" vs. 33, 35, & 37 respectively, Jesus gives the warning, "Take heed, watch and pray...; Watch therefore, for you do not know when...; "And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!", emphasis mine.] I have been taught that when God repeats a message, it is really important to study, but when he mentions a word or phrase three times in one message, it is more of a demand or command for Christians to do what is necessary to accomplish his message. As I get older and study more, I find that I strongly agree.)
This website is a place, a special place for me. Why? It is in my very soul, perhaps that is the heart of me, crying out, shouting out, writing out and even whispering....God loves YOU, just as you are, and more importantly be ready....He's coming soon! This last year or two, these questions kept racing through my thoughts....what are you "supposed" to be doing?....what is God's will for me today?....is this really necessary or procrastination, again?....what do I want to be doing? It has been two or three years since this website was started, and I still have not opened it to the public. There is a lot of scripture that is relative to what we as believers should be doing while we wait for the coming of the Lord. And that is the subject matter that deserves our attention considering these last couple of years! What are we as Christians supposed to be doing as we watch for our Lord to come? It is my hope to have a place for us to discuss, share, and encourage one another through this channel. I Thes. 4:17,18 "Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them" (the dead in Christ) "in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. 18. Therefore comfort one another with these words."
This is also a place where we can gain courage and support for our own dreams, or ideas that will bring the "church" into the focus of the lost or backslidden. This is where helpers and prayer warriors and doers can perhaps find a purpose, fill a gap, or be an encouragement to those of us who are hurting, or isolated for one reason or another. And this is a place where anyone can seek to find out more, ask questions, request prayer, or just be in touch. You can just share your place in time, what you are doing, feeling, or not....It's what you want it to be for you as well.
This is website is to be shared by and for each other, for our own hurt or help. Perhaps it could be a place where new Christians just learning what this Christianity is all about, can read and see that we all suffer, yet rejoice; we all fail, yet prevail in time; we all get angry and are at times rude, yet we love and forgive and keep giving in some way....it is Christ within us that helps us overcome, overlook, and oversee to the end.
